Started life as a 2001 polo 6n2 1.4 8v Match, bought it accident damaged all cosmetic no structural damage. fitted 1.6 GTi Avy engine and 6 speed gearbox out of a lupo GTi. 6 speed gear linkage fitted, Because the 6 speed box is hydraulic not cable operated changed peddle boxes to include hydraulics
fitted complete polo gti wire harness, clocks, fuse box etc. fitted full leather interior from Mk3 golf colour concept, black door panels and rear panels from a SE model, so have rear speakers too, Polo gti steering wheel fitted, On the bodywork, front and rear bumpers were changed, front passenger door and mirror, front passenger wing then these parts were painted to match car. fitted GTi grill and fitted front fog lights.
running gear, rear GTi axle was fitted and running thicker front anti-roll bar, front hubs were made from 6n 16v units and standard units to allow the front fitment of the 256 gti brakes.

things to do by next spring, have GTi front splitter and a full set of new mud-flaps, these will be colour coded to car colour and fitted in the spring, full set of coil-overs, upgrade front brakes to 280mm, fit new drop links to front suspension, rebuild the spare Avy engine I have including cylinder head polishing and new cams, new rings, bearings and oil pump. would love to turbo charge but the lack of parts and high cost looks like this wont happen, coupled up to here in Uk, its very hard to find someone to Map the siemens ecu. fit xenon front lights and sort self level sensor and light washers out.
