Opinion about shock absorbers

Hello I am thinking of buying shock absorbers, share your opinion if anyone has.

But the pic you posted indicates that you want to throw in some "sport suspension" combo (shorter&harder springs and the corresponding tougher/harder absorbers) ... also it looks like you want to buy a used one instead of a new one.

My former (red) Polo had a pretty cheap 60/40 (the amount of mm you get lower on front and rear axle) sport suspension, which did a decent job with stock tires and moderate drivestyle, but it felt a bit "too hard" for everyday usage and especially in some near-limit situations it indeed somehow narrowed the gap between still having grip and flying off the street ... so it was rather an optical measurement than something beneficial for driving physics
